1. Simple structure, light weight

Gate valve: The flow resistance of the gate valve is also small, but its flow resistance performance is greatly affected by the opening of the gate, and the flow resistance will be significantly increased when the gate is partially opened.
4. Good sealing performance
Butterfly valve: The sealing performance of the butterfly valve is usually better, especially when the elastic seal or metal seal is used, a higher sealing grade can be achieved. However, it should be noted that the sealing performance of the butterfly valve is greatly affected by factors such as medium pressure, temperature and medium properties.
Ball valve: The sealing performance of the ball valve is also very good, and the sealing surface between the ball and the seat can be made of a variety of materials to adapt to different media and working conditions.
Gate valve: The sealing performance of gate valve is also better, but its sealing surface is susceptible to media erosion and corrosion, and it needs regular inspection and maintenance.
5. Wide range of application
Butterfly valve: The application range of butterfly valve is very wide, especially suitable for large diameter, low pressure difference, medium temperature is not high in the pipeline system. In addition, butterfly valves can also be used in mud and other media containing solid particles.
Ball valve: The application range of ball valve is also very wide, especially suitable for the need for rapid opening and closing, flow regulation and media cut-off occasions. At the same time, the ball valve is also suitable for corrosive media and high temperature and pressure environments.
Gate valves: Gate valves are usually used in situations where the fluid needs to be completely cut off, especially for large caliber, high pressure, high temperature or low temperature fluid control. However, gate valves are not suitable for frequent opening and closing.
